As a child of two teachers, I grew up with a love of education and an acute awareness of its power to change lives. Spending time supporting children to learn new things and develop lifelong skills is such a joy!
I have a BA(hons) in English, PGCE in Primary Teaching, MA in Leadership in Education, NPQH (National Qualification for Headship), Leadership Coach - Level 7.
I went into teaching straight out of university and feel very fortunate to have had a career I love, from a very young age. I first came to GLPNS as an Advanced Skills Teacher, supporting curriculum development, before joining as Deputy Headteacher in 2008 and Headteacher in 2012. I am passionate about our community and very ambitious for the success of my school and its pupils.
I enjoy supporting others and lead the NPQH qualification in collaboration with UCL in addition to mentoring Headteachers and coaching leaders who work in a range of contexts.
In addition to my interest in education, I am a voracious reader, a keen cinema goer and enjoy spending time with my family.
